I have produced work for material in public contests, gifts, national scientific monitoring, & branding. My commissioned projects have included coloring page designs, images for scientific publications, worksheets & activity pages for camps, activity books for non profits, portraits, & more! How does it work?
The consultation process is easy and FREE! Email me or click the button below to get started. Just let me know what you're interested in commissioning me for (such as a portrait, logo, coloring page, etc. & in what style- such as whimsical portraits, caricature, stylized, etc.). Based on what your needs are we can continue with email exchanges or schedule a virtual meeting over Zoom. We will discuss what your needs are, your vision for the project, & your timeline. After a better understanding of the commission, I will give you a cost estimate. Cost estimates are based off of estimations of time & materials. If you decide to move forward with the commission, I will send you a basic contract that protects your privacy & discusses fees. A nonrefundable deposit is required for most commissions. Once the deposit is received I will begin. Invoices are sent digitally either via the WIX platform or Square, or in hard copy via USPS (if checks are the preferred form of payment, they must clear before work can begin & before the final piece is delivered).
How much does a commission cost?
Commission fees are calculated based off of a time estimate. After determining how many hours I estimate your commission will take & how soon you need it (such as if it has a very tight deadline), I multiply that by an hourly rate. If you change your request half way through the commission, I will provide you with a new estimate if the request will require more time than the original estimate.
What is in your contract?
My contracts are single page (front & back) documents that detail your privacy, copyright information, the number of revisions included in the initial fee as well as additional revision costs, & my payment policy. All contracts can be sent via email as fillable PDF forms for your convenience.
